Training

Revitalise Highland's training and development programme is a fundamental part of the company. We take volunteers with no computer servicing knowledge and guide them from basic hardware identification to solving advanced operating system problems.

With no prior experience required, we give our volunteers hands-on practical experience of repairing computers, together with the technical theory required for certification. We know the value of keeping things simple, and explain procedures in layman's terms rather than techno-babble.

For those volunteers who want qualifications, we provide computer servicing training that forms the foundation for SVQ and CompTIA examinations.

In addition, all Revitalise Highland volunteers are trained in environmentally friendly recycling techniques, Health and Safety at Work, and selected volunteers will be given the opportunity to become a City & Guilds Certified Electrical Tester.
